A Little Moore Winter

In Wisconsin we've hit that phase where Winter is still here and we are so over it. I believe that mother nature is just laughing and laughing and that tiny little rodent that predicted an early spring was obviously drunk. Even though we may be OVER IT, the one amazing thing about living in this part of the country is that it provides a beautiful backdrop to some pretty awesome portrait opportunities. 

I was pretty excited when I had a senior family request a snow session for their family portraits. I was even more excited when the topic of wardrobe was discussed. Velvet dresses and dramatic pops of red. YES PLEASE! As always, we think warm thoughts and shoot super fast. Beth and her kids were amazing troopers with temps barely in the 20s for this photoshoot. How absolutely perfect are these beautiful winter inspired family portraits?!
