A Session With A View - Class of 2020 Senior Platteville High School

This senior season has been amazing. It has not disappointed from my amazing senior clients to the perfect locations, I am one lucky photographer. Miss Madison is a class of 2020 senior from Platteville High school and her session has taken my breathe away! I met with Madison and her mom and they absolutely wanted to capture some beautiful sunsets, gorgeous fall color, water, urban... yeah, the list kept going. That's okay, we turned her session into a tour of the best of the best in the tri-state area. What's the result of two days full of hiking, hair panic, and even some rain... absolutely gorgeous portraits. 

We started our tour in and around the urban Millwork District of Dubuque. I loved Madison's wardrobe selections and the mixture of textures. From vines, brick, staircases, and metal, we found the perfect portrait spots! The weather was on our side as we traveled down the road to hit up Galena in all it's "vintage" glory. A pop of drama with Madison's gorgeous blue floral dress against one of my favorite red doored churches. Don't forget our "cinderella" staircase! To end the evening we made sure to travel to Scales Mound Illinois for the best view in the tri-state area. The light was perfect. The sunset was gorgeous. Madison was beautiful. How could it possibly get any better? Day 2...

The weather was not as good on Day 2. It rained. It was damp. All together it wasn't that pleasant of a forecast but we made the best of our time together. I loved all of the fall inspired clothing against our rustic locations. I truly love all the beautiful places in and around Benton. From the canopy, to the bridge, to the hillside, and then into the slightly chilly water, we made our rounds. Yes, it was raining and it was cold but Miss Madison was determined to get in the water. I love my tough senior girls! 

Miss Madison, thank you for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. Most importantly thank you for such an enjoyable two days of shooting. You simply beautiful from the inside out and I can't wait to hear about all your successes in the future. Enjoy!
