Celebrating Tweens - Miss Trista

I just wish I would have been this cool at 11 years old! Miss Trista is one of our first Tweens as we start our Celebrating Tweens portrait sessions. Miss Trista, from Scales Mound, is what I call a fierce princess. She loves all things girly but isn't afraid to be vicious on the softball field. For Trista's session we made sure to capture both sides of personality and to end our evening combined the two for an amazing on location session. 

We started in studio for her color pop sessions. I loved her sweet personality with just a little bit of sass as we went from blue to dynamic red. Trista had saved up her own money to purchase her long board and I was all too happy that she wanted to include it in her session. From bubble gum to a little rock and roll I LOVE how her in studio session developed! 

We headed out to capture some amazing light and her next favorite passion, softball. However, we made sure to put a spin on the traditional softball portraits and conquer the fierce princess look, complete with a crown. The light was perfect, the dress was gorgeous, and Trista did incredible. I want to thank Trista and her mom for allowing me to capture her own celebrating tween experience. Enjoy!
