Fall Family Mini Sessions

Let’s do this! It’s fall, or just about, and that means it’s time for amazing color, sweatshirt weather, football, and FAMILY PORTRAITS. I love this time of year because I get to catch up with my yearly clients and meet new families to capture gorgeous portraits. I know, for some, the idea of family portraits can be a little daunting. The wardrobe, the scheduling, will my kids actual smile, and who will take the portraits? I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t need to be a dreaded experience.

I absolutely love the time I spend with my clients during family sessions. Whether it’s a quick mini session or a full session, I am bound and determined to make sure we all have an awesome time. It wouldn’t be fair if I was the only one having all the fun because I love taking your pictures. I bring the silly. That’s a promise. When it comes to coordinating the clothing, I’m here to help. From the time you decide to book with me, and I sure hope you do, I want to make this as pleasant and easy an experience as possible. I have a helpful style guide that will assist you when making clothing choices, give you color palette ideas, and I’m always an email away for an opinion.

When can we get our portraits done? I know with the kiddos being back in school and this awesome fall weather that your schedules are jam packed with good stuff. That’s why I offer my Annual Fall Family Mini sessions. These are quick 20 minute sessions that are awesome for updating the family portrait on the wall, creating awesome holiday cards, and getting to know me and the Candid Touch experience. Maybe you’ve been to other portrait artists and you just haven’t clicked. I believe that a portrait experience should be a personal one because how else could I capture the true story that is your family. A mini session is a great way to get to know one another before diving into a full session.

My Family minis are a once a year event. I don’t do a lot of mini sessions because my calendar just doesn’t allow for it. Fall Family Minis always sell out and I only have a limited amount of spots available. This year I will be running two dates with two different locations. Sunday October 8th will be located in Platteville Wisconsin at a park. Sunday October 15th will be in downtown Dubuque Iowa. All of my sessions come with a “print credit” that is used towards your purchase of a collection, a la carte, or digitals. I have created special collections that include custom holiday cards and other festive goodies for this event. This makes holiday shopping a breeze!
