GQ for real - Hempstead High School Senior

This was my very first year running a senior rep team of all guys, The Dude Crew. I didn't know what to expect because more often than not guys are less excited about getting portraits taken and now they're signing up for a year of portraits?! The three young men that signed up for this program really have blown me away. Jaydon, my last but not least Dude Crew Member and our next Class of 2021 senior celebration, always kept me on my toes for the unexpected and kept me laughing during each session. From my first session with Jaydon he was and is an obvious natural in front of the camera. Over our months working together I have seen his confidence grow and his session really blew me away. Jaydon's laid back personality was perfect in the fact that he just rolled right along with all my crazy suggestions and ideas. He is sarcastic and goofy and his positive attitude about life is infectious. It was a pleasure being able to get to know him this past year. Thank you. 

For Jaydon's personal portrait experience it was a little bit country (John Denver style according to his Dad), and a little bit rock n roll with an urban edge. We traveled in and around Downtown Dubuque and hit up some truly awesome locations. I love a musician and a senior that's willing to play during a session is always a plus! The guitar portraits taken in two completely different locations are like an album cover! We hit up some awesome country locations before ending our session in the water. Jaydon has been "in" the water for nearly every session and this was the perfect ending to it all! Thank you to Jaydon and his family for trusting me to capture all of his senior portrait experience and for taking part in the FIRST EVER Dude Crew!
