Just a blue eyed, small town girl...

We continue to celebrate our Class of 2022 Seniors with Miss Lexi from Mineral Point High School. Lexi was one of the studios Ambassadors for this and she has been an eager part of the Candid Community project this year collecting donations for various non-profits. Lexi also got to take part in a funky fashion shoot at the studio and embrace her inner 80's rockstar! Over the past 6 months I've gotten the chance to get to know Lexi and her family. It's been a joy working with her and I will miss her now that our journey together is coming to a close. 

For Miss Lexi's personal session she chose to head to the Dubuque Arboretum for some gorgeous floral and water portraits. This location never does disappoint with the beautiful colors, backgrounds, and light. I loved her very boho dress style for this part of her session. We then headed off downtown to get a little urban and mix up the styles. Her corset, jeans, and kimono combo was ooh so girly and sweet and she absolutely rocked this look before adding a little glamour with last years prom dress. I adore Lexi's bubbly personality and go with the flow attitude. This session was such a breeze and full of laughter. To end our first evening together we headed to the country for a little fun in the water at sunset. Perfect flowy dress, great light, and a gorgeous young lady made for a great ending to our evening. Oh the memories we made and quite the splash, right Lexi?

Lexi also choose to add on a Parachute Dress session as well as an Xtreme Sports Portrait session in studio. We covered every side of Miss Lexi's personality from athlete, to girl next door, to a little drama with a 35 foot parachute dress. Big thanks to Lexi's mama and older sister for helping tame the dress during a GORGEOUS evening down by the water. You guys were fantastic "fluffers"! 
I. LOVE. LEXI'S. GREEN. SCREEN. SESSION! From Cheerleading to softball and sneaking in a few nostalgic items from her Daddy, this session has it all. Thank you so much Lexi and family for choosing me to capture your story. I know you will accomplish amazing things and the options are limitless. A beautiful girl inside as well as out, best of luck to you Lexi as you finish this chapter and start another.
