Inspiration can happen in the strangest of places, by the smallest of things, but it's what you do with your inspiration that makes it special. Creating an experience for children that's straight out of their imaginations has been my passion for as long as I've been a portrait artist.  I love creating a one of a kind session that children, not only enjoy during our time together, but will talk about time and time again. I love the idea that not only will we have fun during your child's special day but you'll have beautiful portrait art to share and enjoy for generations. Your children are your masterpieces and I have the pleasure of capturing this short and amazing journey; their childhood. 

Keeping all this in the forefront of my mind, I developed my Inspired Sessions three short years ago. I wanted to develop special sessions that were over-the-top, unique, and captured a child's imagination. I am a big kid at heart. If I wouldn't have had such a crazy imagination as a child, I wouldn't be in the field I am today. That's what's awesome, all the things I dreamt and pretended as a child, I'm now able to bring to life.

I also wanted these sessions to be all-inclusive to capture the crazy vision that is in my head and make life easier for moms and dads. I know shopping for portraits can be hard, especially when you're trying achieve a theme or style. Most, if not all, of my inspired sessions provide full wardrobe, professional hair and makeup styling, and accessories / props to create an over-the-top session experience. All I'm asking you and your little one to do is show up and have a fantastic time. Let me help you build memories and capture precious moments.

I completely understand that custom portrait art isn't for everyone. It's absolutely an investment not only in funds but an investment in me. I do gaurantee that this will be a one-of-a-kind experience for you and your children. My career is dedicated to helping my clients achieve gorgeous pieces of art that will be shared for generations. With your investment you're getting an all inclusive session, personal assistance to help you choose how to display your new art, and one-on-one client service. After each session, I welcome you to my studio for a reveal session. Sit back, relax, enjoy some popcorn and view your beautiful portraits. We'll laugh, you may cry, and then I'll help you plan and create beautiful displays for your home. I love helping you make decisions about the portraits you love.

Inspired Fairy Sessions have been my most popular to date. The location propels your child into their own make believe fairyland. My amazing hair and make-up stylist transforms your little girl into a magical woodland fairy or a dramatic dark fairy. The dresses are flowy and elegant, but the hand-made, one of a kind fairy wings will push your child's imagination to the limit. It's awesome to watch a little girl light up during the transformation process. Even the shy, reserved little girls can't help but emerge into an excited little fairy. The portrait session is full of glitter, props, and imagination. We will search for fairies in the forest as we capture beautiful portraits. Our time together is full of imagination, wonder, laughs, and memories. 

Inspired Sessions:

The 2017 Inspired Fairy Sessions are here! These sell out sessions do not last long. This is a one day event and spaces are limited. Sessions will be held on Sunday, June 4th in Benton Wisconsin. Each Fairy session, including hair and make-up time, will last approximately 90 minutes. Wardrobe and professional make-up artist and hair stylist will be on set to transform your little one into a magical fairy! Due to the nature of this shoot and wardrobe restrictions, I recommend this session for children ages 4 to 13.

Creative fee for an Inspired Fairy sessions is $399. Of that $399, you will be given back a $150 ordering credit to be used during your reveal session. This can be spent towards a print collection, digitals, or ala carte. I do invite you and your little fairy back to my studio in Galena, Illinois to view your gallery and choose how you'd like to display your portraits! You can expect a gallery of 15 beautifully enhanced portraits to choose from and a complimentary gift bag is given to each little fairy as a reminder of her experience. If you'd like to book more than one fairy a discount will be applied.
