Miss Abby - Class of 2025

I'd like to introduce you to Miss Abby a class of 2025 senior from Darlington High School. Miss Abby is a dancer, an FFA member, and an avid reader. I also told Abby, after our first session together, that she was a dark horse. 

Every year, I find these stunning young ladies that walk into my studio having NO idea just how gorgeous they are and as soon as we start shooting they come alive! Abby was quiet, reserved, and a little nervous when we first sat down on my couch to plan her senior portrait experience. We wanted to incorporate all the things that Abby loved; dancing, cows and FFA, and books. SO MANY BOOKS. 

Our first evening together I headed Abby's direction to shoot at the same beautiful old barn I'd shot a few years before for her brother's senior session. The light was perfect and Abby was adorable. Fun fact, turkeys live in the barn and they may have startled this photographer.... 
Next we headed to capture the cows and travel the beautiful countryside around Abby's home. The sunset that evening was so pretty but the icing on the cake was Abby pulling some gorgeous dance moves as the sun was setting. 

Our next session together took place at one of my favorite locations around Benton. Abby and her mom brought SO MANY books. I love how these portraits turned out and I think they truly capture Abby's love for reading. It was perfect that the cows were behind Abby when she wore her FFA jacket and the light was gorgeous. We ended our evening in the water with an epic dress, a stunning senior, and some flawless dance moves once again. 

Last but certainly not least, Abby joined me in studio for a green screen session. Abby's love of dance was so evident during our time together. She is a beautiful dancer with a heart of an athlete, striving to perfect each pose. Her confidence shone through as we captured a truly gorgeous dance session. 

I wanted to thank Abby and her family for choosing me to capture her senior portrait experience. Abby, thank you for sharing your passions with me. It was an honor to watch you shine through each session. I know you will do amazing things. Enjoy!
