Miss Madison - Class of 2024 Valedictorian University of Wisconsin Platteville

As a senior portrait artist I know the importance of celebrating the graduating senior. It's about capturing who they are at this momentous milestone before they start a new chapter. However, I don't just mean the high school graduating senior. I have ALWAYS thought that a college graduation isn't as celebrated as a High School graduation but it's just as important. Frankly, any big accomplishment before you head off into the world of being an adult should be celebrated. 

With all of that, I introduce you to Miss Madison a Class of 2024 College Graduate and Valedictorian from the University of Wisconsin Platteville. Madison was one of my class of 2020 seniors and it was her and her parents opinion that due to the craziness that the world was going through, she, as many seniors that year, got left out on a "normal" graduation experience. For this young lady we were going to truly celebrate this AMAZING accomplishment and the start of yet another BIG journey. 

Our time together started with a "headshot session" in and around the historic Dubuque Millwork District before graduation. Post graduation we celebrated with a gorgeous Cap and Gown session on the UWP campus. We also made sure to capture the landmark M outside of Platteville. I mean, M is for Madison too, right?

Her portrait session was absolutely gorgeous. It was a take on a "senior session" but elevated. Portraits fitting of a young woman starting her next adventure. We spent our time at the beautiful Dubuque Arboretum, the UD campus, as well the classic Eagle Point Park. The light that night was absolutely beautiful and the different wardrobe styling for each location was perfection. Our very last evening together took us to beautiful Rech Family Gardens. The sunset that night was to die for and the gorgeous handpicked bouquet added to the look.

I cannot thank Madison and her family enough for trusting me to capture yet another milestone. I have said it before and I will say it again, Madison you have a heart of gold, amazing work ethic, you're so incredibly intelligent, that  I cannot wait to see the mark you leave on this world. I know with no doubt you will do and achieve amazing things. Keep shining your light gorgeous girl. Enjoy.
