Miss Sydney - Class of 2023

I'd like to introduce you to Miss Sydney, a class of 2023 senior from Lancaster High School. We continue to celebrate these amazing seniors with another unique experience.

Miss Sydney is a dancer, a singer, super smart, and absolutely beautiful so we needed to create a session that was as unique as her and celebrated all her passions. To start her session Sydney chose the beautiful landscape in and around Galena Illinois. The flower field is was in full bloom and the light during this portion of her session was beautiful. You totally need to check out this young ladies killer shoes! Obviously a dancer with, impeccable balance, as I would have broke my neck on any number of her stunning heels.

After visiting all the beauty that Galena had to offer, we headed to the country for some  water portraits. I've done a lot of water sessions over the years but this one was super unique. The light was dropping quickly and it almost became a night session on the water. Of course, to take advantage of the dramatic lighting, Miss Sydney pulled some beautiful dance moves in the water!

Sydney also chose to turn up the volume for her gallery with a night session. Celebrating her love and passion for singing and dance, we started our night under the bridge with a microphone, a sassy attitude, and some more killer heels! A quick outfit change, and with the help of her Grandpa's amazing vintage car, we added even more edge to her evening. Before we ended our time together we celebrated her love of dance under the beautiful marquee lights of the Hotel Julian in Dubuque. This session was full of amazing moments and I adored working with Miss Sydney and her family. 

Sydney, best of luck as you finish this chapter and start your next. I know you will do amazing things wherever your path leads you. Thank you for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. Enjoy!
