Rillie Family Summer Session - Galena Family Photography

It’s always such a joy to welcome the Rillie Family back in front of my camera! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing each of their little ones for their 18-month sessions, and it’s been so special watching not only the kids grow, but the family as a whole. Watching these moments come full circle — from those first toddler giggles to full-blown sibling laughter — has been such a gift.

For their most recent family session, we headed to beautiful Grant Park in Galena to soak up the gorgeous summer weather. The evening was filled with laughter, a few silly moments, and plenty of smiles (with a little help from the promise of ice cream afterward!). The light was perfect, the setting was timeless, and the Rillie's brought all the warmth and joy that make family sessions so meaningful.

It’s families like the Rillie's that remind me why I love what I do — preserving these little chapters of life that pass far too quickly.
