The EYES have it

I have always been a sucker for amazing eyes. As a photographer it's what pulls me into a picture and this class of 2021 senior had eyes that made my photographer heart sing! Miss Layla is a little bit sassy, a little bit sweet, and has one of the most infectious laughs. For her senior portrait session we traveled to the beautiful Dubuque Arboretum to take advantage of the gorgeous flowers and waterfalls. With a quick stop in downtown Dubuque for something a little bit urban, I loved the simple and sweet wardrobe and then just a touch of urban edge for her black and white photos!

Ending our evening on a high note was a beautiful sunset and into the water we went. Layla is an absolute natural in front of the camera and it was hard to not overshoot such a gorgeous young lady, in beautiful light, and at the perfect location. However, this is not our this Darlington Redbird's portrait experience ended. Layla chose to add on an Xtreme Sports Portrait session to display her love of cross country, cheerleading, and we even worked in some FFA. Layla is my first cheerleader to have been photographed on green screen and I LOVE the outcome.
