There’s a special kind of joy that happens when a family finally gets everyone in front of the camera, and the Krusers brought it in the most memorable way. With Miss Josie serving as one of my Class of 2026 senior reps, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her throughout the year — but seeing her with her whole crew made this session feel especially meaningful.
Steaks may or may not have been promised for good behavior, but honestly? They didn’t need the bribe. This family laughs easily, loves deeply, and treats one another with a level of respect and warmth that shines through every frame. They are the perfect example of that old truth: the family that laughs together stays strong together.
Eagle Point Park in Dubuque delivered peak fall magic for us. The colors were absolutely glowing, and when golden hour hit… it was spectacular. Miss Ella, their oldest, is stunning — the kind of effortlessly photogenic beauty I could photograph for days. Henry took everything in stride, going with the flow even though family portraits might not be his favorite pastime. And Mom and Dad? A beautiful couple inside and out. Their connection, their laughter, and the way they look at their kids made the entire session feel warm and genuine.
Kruser family — thank you for trusting me with these memories. Your gallery is full of love, joy, and the kind of moments you’ll be grateful to look back on for years to come.
