Time To Reflect - Thank You 2015

A new year means fresh starts and the beginning of another chapter. Before I get too ahead of myself in planning all the wonderful things to come in 2016 I want to reflect on what made 2015 so amazing. I couldn’t have done that without all of you! I am reminded every day how fortunate I am to share my passion and love for all things creative with my clients, friends, and family. 

2015 was an incredible journey for me. With all the life changes and decisions to move forward in 2015 with a full-time studio, I will admit it was scary. I had my days where the light at the end of the tunnel was dim and I questioned my true path. With the love and support of an amazing family,  I threw away the doubt and embraced what I truly love, creating art, and memories. I did things differently, I created experiences instead of just sessions, I opened the door to imagination, I stopped taking everything so seriously, and I welcomed challenges I would have ran from before. 
 
So what happened? I found my voice and I’m in awe that you, my creative family, have embraced the craziness that is my vision. I’m humbled that I’ve been invited into so many families' homes to capture their precious memories, that I’ve been asked to help create memorable moments for their children, and given the opportunity to create timeless pieces of art for their generations. The relationships I have created with many of you is positively amazing and it’s what makes me strive to be better. I thank you for returning to me time and again and allowing me to witness the true joy and story of your family. I thank those that have traveled distances to allow me to photograph their families and those that have given me blind faith to accomplish even the craziest of ideas. 
 
We are moving forward, however, I don’t want to forget about all the amazing memories from 2015 that helped me get to where I am today. So, for the moment, I want to stop and celebrate all of you and say, “thank you”. You’ve made Candid Touch Photography & Design better than I could have ever dreamed. Enjoy.
