Class of 2026 Senior Pictures - Josie - Cuba City High School

Josie has been such a joy to have on the Class of 2026 Candid Crew! She brings a silly, fun personality to every shoot, is always willing to step outside her comfort zone, and has such an easygoing, go-with-the-flow attitude. She’s the kind of person who lights up the room, and her senior sessions reflected that perfectly.

One of Josie’s biggest passions is baking — and not just casually! She’s continuing her education in the pastry arts with dreams of one day opening her own bakery. (And trust me… I’ve tasted her cakes. She’s definitely on the right path!) It was a must to include her talent in her portraits, so a huge thank you to Candle Ready Cakes of Dubuque, IA for letting us use their charming space. Between the adorable bakery vibes, her colorful wardrobe, and Josie’s natural energy, these portraits were as sweet as her cakes.

For her main senior session, we headed to Galena, Illinois. With its historic architecture and old-world charm, it was the perfect backdrop for Josie’s dramatic black dress — honestly, the images looked straight out of a movie. She switched things up with a playful pop of blue, which highlighted her stunning blue eyes. We wrapped up by the water at sunset, where the golden hour light and her bold style came together for the dreamiest ending.

Our last shoot took us to the softball field, a place that’s been such a big part of Josie’s story. It was the perfect way to honor her years on the field and her love of the game, while also giving a nod to all the future memories she’ll make in the sport.
