Celebrating Tweens - Miss Emersyn

I truly love working with dancers. They are vivacious, they are passionate, and they are bold! Little Miss Emersyn was all that and then some for her Celebrating Tween Portrait Experience. Of course we needed to capture her love of dance but she's also quite the girly girly (full of sunshine and rainbows as her mama put it) but with a little sass to go along with it! 

For her in studio color pop session we pulled out an awesome rainbow backdrop and went for a punk princess vibe. I loved the edge of the boots and the leather jacket and the playful whimsy of a tutu on a rainbow backdrop. Emersyn brought the fun to this portion of her session before we rolled right into dance. It was awesome to see her moves as she struck a pose (pun intended) over and over again. I look forward to seeing your passion grow over the years Miss Emersyn!

We headed outdoors to hit up some beautiful golden hour water portraits. We needed to wait out the cows in the pasture but it was so worth it! Emersyn was quite the trooper waiting patiently for our audience to MOOve and for taking on the chilly stream! Thank you to Emersyn and her mom for choosing me to capture these amazing memories.
