Flowers, Music, and a Vintage Flare

Celebrating the Class of 2022 with Miss Emma from Scales Mound High School in Illinois. Emma has been apart of the Candid Touch ambassador team this year and I've had the pleasure of getting to know her of the past few months. This young lady is an accomplished student and musician as well as volunteers her time within her community and school organizations. She has been an eager part of the Candid Community project this year collecting donations for various non-profits and donating her time helping to clean at a local church. Thank you Emma and family for being such an amazing part of the team this year! 

Miss Emma's session had all the vintage vibes. We started our evening at the always beautiful Dubuque Arboretum amongst the flowerbeds, near the hundreds of koi fish, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Loved her classy styling for the arboretum and we continued with this look with a quick visit to downtown Dubuque. My favorite may just be her drop dead gorgeous red dress. We made sure to bring this look back for a dramatic ending to her session.
As I said, Emma is an accomplished musician and wanted to include a couple of her instruments in her session. Full disclosure, instruments may have been forgotten but were quickly remedied with a literal drive by pick up and go courtesy of her Dad. (Thanks Dad!) On to the country! This beautiful vintage metal bridge and running creek made for a stunning ending to our evening. The light was perfect, we had a ton of laughs, and I loved the boho vibes for this vintage location. Before the sun could set we took to the water with her beautiful red dress for the perfect ending to her session. 

Miss Emma, thank you again for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. I wish you nothing but the best as you finish your senior year. I know you will go on to accomplish amazing things wherever your path may lead you. Enjoy!
