Puppy Love, Grease, and Boho Styles

The gorgeous sessions just keep rolling in and I'm too excited to share my next fantastic Class of 2022 Senior. Samantha's portrait experience has a little of EVERYTHING. To say we captured every side of her personality would be an understatement. First, let me introduce you to Samantha, Sami as I call her, a Class of 2022 senior from Cuba City High School. Sami has been a member of the Candid Crew this year. She has taken part in some of our over the top stylized sessions, met some fellow seniors from area high schools, contributed to the Candid Community project dedicating her time and donating items to local non-profits, and making some pretty awesome memories. Sami is always willing to try the crazy, have fun, and has been an absolute joy to have on each set. I thank her for beautiful spirit and for making this an amazing Candid Crew year!

For Sami's personal session we hit up Galena for some vintage boho vibes and old world charm. I was delighted to include Sami's favorite four legged companion, travel to some of best spots in Galena, and help style her killer wardrobe. From Galena we headed to the country for some beautiful field portraits and ended our evening in the water at sunset. The water may have been a little chilly but as Sami put it, "it's all worth it". The entire day was perfect but we weren't quite done yet with Sami's personal session.

Some of my favorite sessions to shoot are night sessions and anything that included a killer car. Why not do both?! Sami's Grandpa was all to willing to bring his gorgeous 1957 Pontiac Chieftain. If this car doesn't make you swoon you're CRAZY. Not only did we get amazing sunset portraits with the 57 but we didn't want to leave out Sami's beloved Jeep either. The styling for each was perfect and was certainly a night to remember. We ended our time with a few more portraits in Downtown Dubuque and I couldn't be happier with this fantastic add on session!

Sami, you are beautiful from the inside out. Never let anyone dull your shine. You will do amazing things as long as you lead with your big heart and gorgeous smile.
