Nathan - Class of 2023

Capturing someone's passion has become one of my FAVORITE parts of my senior portrait experiences. When a senior walks into my studio knowing, sure, we will get the ones Grandma and Mom like, but realizing, together, we are going to capture what makes them TICK is a sure fire way to the start of an amazing experience. The design and collaboration just happens and the results are always epic.
Nathan, a class of 2023 Senior from Benton High School, and his parents came to me with not a lot of vision other then capture his love of sports, make it epic, and have an awesome time doing it. I would like to say we checked all three of those boxes. 

For Nathan's first evening with me we went a little bit "country" before heading to the millwork District in Dubuque for something a little edgier. Nathan was super laid back and thankfully totally cool with trusting in the "crazy fun" that is a Candid Touch experience. He nailed his locations, posing was effortless, and once a few back of the cameras were shared, he was ready to roll into an awesome golden hour location by the water. I've seen so many tropical shirts this year with my senior guys and I have admit these dock portraits with that shirt were gold! 

Our second day of shooting started with an awesome Green Screen Experience in studio. Thank you to Nathan for bringing all the intensity and energy that truly speaks volumes in this session. Nailing the Jordan Jumpman... I LOVE LOVE THIS SESSION! Last, but certainly not least, we made sure to head to the baseball field for some true in action shots and to capture his home field. A truly awesome start to all things sports for this years seniors!
