There’s something meaningful about photographing a family you’ve already built a connection with — and the Boss Family’s fall session at Eagle Point Park was exactly that. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the very handsome Jett through his youth football league for the past two years, so finally getting the whole family in front of my camera felt incredibly special.
This was my first time meeting his sister, June, and their dad, John — and they were every bit as warm, kind, and easygoing as I imagined. John and Jami have such a calm, grounded presence about them, and it set the perfect tone for a relaxed and joy-filled evening.
June, at 12, has the sweetest combination of confidence and gentleness. She photographs beautifully with those natural, effortless expressions that make every image feel authentic. And Jett brought his familiar charm — relaxed, go-with-the-flow, and full of that quiet humor that makes him so fun to work with.
Eagle Point Park was stunning for their session — peak fall color, glowing golden hour light, and that soft warmth that makes autumn portraits feel timeless. What I loved most, though, were the candid moments: the easy smiles between siblings, the way mom and dad naturally fell into step with the kids, and the overall peacefulness this family carries.
Boss Family — thank you for trusting me to capture your memories this year. It was a joy to photograph you all together, and your gallery reflects exactly who you are: warm, loving, connected, and beautifully down-to-earth.
