Celebrating Tweens - Miss Madelyn

I truly have loved working with some amazing Tweens this summer. This younger age group never ceases to amaze me and what they're accomplishing. When I sat down with Miss Madelyn and her mom we talked about everything that makes her unique. She is an amazing and dedicated gymnast. The muscle tone of this young athlete is amazing and has taken some serious dedication. It's not all about the gym though because this girl is already a fantastic baker. We hatched up a vision to celebrate her love of baking, complete with a ton of sweet baked and decorated by Madelyn herself! We had cupcakes, cakes, and cookies galore that not only looked amazing but tasted delicious! Feeling a very 50's sweetshop vibe I LOVED this portion of her color pop session. 

We headed outdoors for some more "traditional portraits" at sunset. The golden hour was beautiful and thankfully, for both Madelyn and myself, we didn't run into any snakes by the water. Lots of laughs, tons of sugar, all while celebrating this amazing tween. Thank you to Madelyn and her mom for allowing me to celebrate who she is right now and all the fantastic things she's accomplishing and doing. I look forward to watching you grow over the next few years. Enjoy!
